Jeff Koons

Jeff Koons is a really important designer/artist in art world. He is known for his reproduction in banal objects, such as balloon animals produced in stainless steel with mirror finish surfaces. His works are being sold for very expensive amounts. Some people see his work as pioneering and of major-art historical importance, and some dismiss his work as kitsch: crass and based on self-merchandising. For my opinion, he is really creative and different. I love his work.

Moova

In Turkey, we have a new milk brand named "Moova", that I first discovered while I was watching advertisements on the television. I thought that it was very different form the other milk brands' advertisements. It is a very colorful advertisement with a lot of purple and orange in it. The cows are not real cows nor with their real colors. They look like they have cut from orange cartoons. This is why I bought a cartoon of milk last week and I really liked the taste and the design of the cartoon! I was actually not drinking milk a lot for a very long time, but with Moova, I want to drink milk. This is not a commercial for Moova;)

Mary Blair

21 October was Mary Blair' 100th anniversary. She was a very talented and inspirational illustrator and a Google doodle was designed for her on 21 October 2011 to commemorate it, so I decided to put some of her marvellous works. She have made illustrations for Disney, which made her famous. The first photograph is Mary Blair, her self. Above, is the Google doodle.
