Beyoglu

I'm in Istanbul now and I know that I'm not going anywhere for quite a long time. Tomorrow my school starts, but before that I'm making trips in here to take some photos, see different places like museums, cafe-restaurants or shops.

I decided to go to Beyoglu with one of Istanbul's famous boats and took some photos.
More over, I went to see Pera Museum (http://en.peramuzesi.org.tr/), where an exhibition called "Present Times" is continuing. It is the exhibition of the projects of Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts students (2010-2011). I really liked it and think that the students of the university's students are very creative and successful.

After visiting Pera Museum I walked down Beyoglu, where a lot of student were shouting. I actually thought that something was wrong, and there was a bad situation, but later on I realised that it was only a miting, which they were shoutin for their own rights.

Experiment of Light

I literally played with lights, to take unique photos in İstanbul this time, but in an appartment. In the apparment, which was my friend's, he has a clock which you can see it after reflecting it on a wall, so you need a little bit of darkness. It really inspired me, so I started to take photos and make some kind of experiments with lights.

Some More From Antalya

Previously I focused on sea photos, and its details, but ofcaurse Antalya was more than that. Actually I was in Manavgat as I mentioned before, which was a very calm an quite town, so we did not go to bars, nor dancing, but we did have some kind of enjoyment: playing games like "Tabu", "Cranium" and "Trivial Pursuit" at nights, watching the sun set, or swimming in a pool while it was dark. We were staying in a place called "Bizim Köy". (http://bizimkoy.biz/icindex.htm)
Besides we went to see waterfall of Manavgat, which looked so perfect that I remember it now as a place just like a dream. We ate "kavurma" there, because it was famous:)

Good Bye, Summer...

Today I realised that summer is over, while I was walking on Caddebostan Beach. It was windy and the sea was still and looked silvery, which made me thought that the atmosphere there was mysterious. This is why I want to put some photos of the hot summer time in Manavgat (Antalya), where I stayed for 4 days in a friend's house. The last photo is Kaan, reading while walking towards me.
